Strength, Storms & Celebrations

This week has been full of milestones, movement, and meaningful moments.

The @bhf Strong Woman Challenge kicked off on Wednesday, and I’ve already completed the first five exercises — squats, shoulder presses, toe touches, heel lifts and ab crunches. I’m loving the motivation this challenge brings and the feeling of getting stronger each day, all while supporting an amazing cause close to my heart.

Wednesday was extra special because it was also my eldest daughter’s 23rd birthday 🩷 We celebrated with lots of laughs and family time before heading to Dorset on Thursday for a weekend away to mark my dad’s 70th birthday.

Storm Amy tried her best to dampen the celebrations (literally ☔), but we still made the most of it — playing games, catching up, and enjoying some much-needed downtime together.

On Saturday, I stretched my legs and took a short walk to the Neal’s Yard Remedies factory, which was only five minutes away. Then on Sunday, I rounded off the week with a lovely 6k walk after our traditional Sunday roast — the perfect way to clear my head before heading home.

It’s been a week of balance — strength and softness, family and fitness, laughter and reflection. I’m feeling recharged and ready to take on the week ahead 💪✨
